The last days to order engraved Christmas gifts in 2026 for each production option and USPS service, how the cutoffs work, and the gifts with the fewest choices to make.
With standard production, the last day to order for Christmas is Wednesday, December 9, shipping USPS Ground Advantage. Priority Mail gives you until Thursday, December 10, and Priority Mail Express until Friday, December 11. Past those dates you need a rush option. Next Day Production runs until Thursday, December 17. The very last order we can take is Same Day Production, placed before noon Central on Friday, December 18, with Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express.
| Production option | Ship with | Last order (Central time) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Ground Advantage | Wednesday, Dec 9, before 6:00 PM |
| Standard | Priority Mail | Thursday, Dec 10, before 6:00 PM |
| Standard | Priority Mail Express | Friday, Dec 11, before 6:00 PM |
| Next Day ($9.99) | Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express | Thursday, Dec 17, before 6:00 PM; ships Friday, Dec 18 |
| Same Day ($19.99) | Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express | Friday, Dec 18, before 12:00 PM |
Standard production is 3 to 5 business days with engraving. Order before 6:00 PM Central and that day is day 1; order later and day 1 moves to the next business day.
Next Day Production ($9.99) uses the same 6:00 PM line. We finish the engraving within 1 business day, and the order ships the business day after you place it.
Same Day Production ($19.99) has a noon cutoff. An order in before 12:00 PM Central ships that day. One placed after noon is still engraved that day, then goes out on the next shipping day. Same Day capacity is limited each day, so on December 17 and 18, order as early in the morning as you can.
Here is the 6:00 PM line in practice. A standard order with Priority Mail Express placed at 5:30 PM on Friday, December 11 is in time. Place the same order at 7:00 PM and day 1 moves to Monday, past that Friday date, so it needs a rush option. By the middle of that week, only the rush options are left. On Wednesday, December 16, a Next Day order placed before 6:00 PM ships Thursday, December 17, and a Same Day order placed before noon ships that Wednesday.
A rush option speeds up production only. Transit time is set by whichever USPS service you pick at checkout, and everything leaves from Texas: plan on 3 to 5 business days for Ground Advantage in most cases, 1 to 3 for Priority Mail and 1 to 2 for Priority Mail Express. Plenty of people cut it close: of the 197 orders from the last 60 days, 39 paid for Next Day Production (roughly 1 in 5) and 20 paid for Same Day.
On a standard order, you have 2 hours after checkout to change or cancel. Rush orders start production right away and can't be canceled, so read the name twice before you pay.
Between November 10 and December 15, 2026, Saturday counts as a shipping day. A Same Day order placed on a Friday afternoon in that window is engraved Friday and goes out Saturday, without sitting until Monday. Nothing ships on a Sunday or on a USPS holiday.
We counted these dates back from the 2026 holiday send-by dates USPS recommends: December 17 for Ground Advantage, December 18 for Priority Mail and December 19 for Priority Mail Express. USPS recommends those dates and does not guarantee them, so a package sent on time can still arrive after Christmas. If the gift has to be in hand on a particular day, order before the last date in the table.
Production time is the same for every item, so "quick" here means few choices to make: one engraving place, a shop design and no logo file.
